The first marriage has been held at the Camp Nou. The couple, Ibán Anglada and Sígrid Sans said their vows in the Barça stadium.
At 19.00, two FC Barcelona members were wedded in Sala Roma In the Camp Nou. Anglada and Sans thus become the first couple to ever seal the knot in the historic stadium.
More than 300 guests were there to share this important day in their lives. Apart than the civil ceremony in Sala Roma, the biggest lounge in the stadium, the bride and groom also used other spaces for the wedding. The aperitif, for example, was held at pitch level, the banquet on the new terrace, and the dance in the honorary anteroom.
The couple are both Catalans from Masnou and have been interested in marrying this way ever since the possibility was announced.
Thus, member 171.558 is now the wife of a former Barça ice hockey player, making them the first of what will be many happy couples to be married in the Camp Nou.
