Club America finish off US Tour

Barça play the final game of their US Tour against Club America at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium on Saturday night(22.00 Catalan time).
The Tour reaches its third and final stopping off point tonight, when Barça play at the hi-tech Dallas Cowboys Stadium against Mexican side Club America – a team they also faced on the 2006 Tour.

Pep Guardiola will be looking for the team’s first win on the Tour after Wednesday’s defeat to Chivas , but will have to do without the injured Afellay, Puyol and Muniesa, whilst Maxwell remains a doubt.

For their part, America are already up and running with their season and have played three games in the Torneo Apertura , with a win , a draw and a defeat so far.

Two games in 2006
The two met twice in 2006: once on tat year’s US Tour, when they drew 4-4 in a great game also played on August 6th and then in the semi finals of the World Club Cup, when Barça won 4-0.

Nearly a hundred years old
America are coached by the Chilean Carlos Reinoso and will mark their 95th anniversary this Autumn. They have won the Mexican League 10 times and play their home games at the massive Aztec Stadium, whose 105, 064 capacity is even bigger than the Camp Nou.
